Finally I took the advice Birch had been trying to give me for weeks: Ibuprofen around the clock to help with inflammation and strengthen my core (I hate sit-ups!) Finally I feel better. I guess I'm not good at taking advice from someone I live in the same house with.
I made a resolution tonight to be better about taking pictures. Here are two from the last month: the kids in the stroller and some bath time. Trevor's new thing is playing with his cars in the bath. He usually takes 2 baths a day, more if we all need a break. If you're worried about water waste, don't come visit us right now.
I am absolutely crazy about Haley! Maybe I love having a baby around, maybe the 2-year-old is making her look incredibly sweet or maybe I just love having a little girl. Whatever it is, I can't get enough of her. To me she is the cutest thing EVER! She's arching her back, ready to roll over pretty soon. That means we'll have to put her in the crib and keep both kids in the same room. Uh-oh....

I can't believe you are up to two baths a day! YOu guys should install a pool! It is so much work for me that my grubby little kids are lucky if they get one bath a day. Here is an idea I read in a magazine. Get a (I dont know what they are called boogie board, float board, skimmer?) and Trevor can play with his cars on it in the tub. Nice tip so you dont get as much water on the floor when toys are placed on the edge of the tub. Or, freeze a round cake pan and the ice disk can float in the tub. Although, I dont know if this would be too cold. I have never tried it.
I must say I'm jealous of your stroller. They make them cooler now. I love the two separate shades. Mine has one, and it's not great. But I am glad you like it. Looks good. I am trying to get back into running... it's really hard when the baby is a little challenging!
I love the two baths a day. And why not? If it keeps him happy.
I am SOOOO sorry. I totally forgot to email those back stretches that I told you about. I'm glad that your doing better though. What a terrible friend I am. Here you are in pain and I'm not helping.
I totally understand with the whole movin' the baby into the older siblings room. I'm always sooo worried to do it, but it hasn't been that bad. A and Shay sleep right through her night wakings, but they usually wake her up in the morning. Not a big deal since we have to leave to preschool anyways, but I'm still having them take naps in seperate rooms. We don't want to mess with naptime.
...and how could you not just think that Haley is sooo sweet. She's like a litle doll. She's adorable (I probably tell you that everytime you post about her).
I feel the same way about Jack and Violet! She is my most favorite little doll face these days. I am always playing with her and giggling with her and Jack is getting jealous. Poor guy. As for advice, I give it all the time, even when people don't ask for it but I am not so good at taking it. Especially from my husband. Don't feel bad, I think it's pretty normal to ignore the person closest to you. Cute pics!
Yeah, I am really bad at taking Jeff's advice. I'll take everyone's before his--it's a very bad habit of mine.
Your kids are such a mixture of both of you!
Stroller question--do you know if there are jogging strollers that you can put a carseat in? Like you do with the combos? I don't want to have to take Blake out of his carseat to put him in the stroller b/c I drive to the place I go running, and my combo stroller's wheels go crazy when I go faster than a really slow jog...
Just wondering!
I love the picture of Trevor and Haley in the stroller. She is chunking up:) Saku loves showers so I have taken one with him just to calm him down. Yes, it is easy to ignore our husband's advice, but I get mad if he would ignore mine...
