10 Year Reunion

In high school I was involved in student council and now it's coming back to bite me for the big 10-year reunion. Of course it will be fun to see people and catch up but right now it seems like a lot of work. I graduated in 2000 and I think we'll probably hold it next summer, which leaves a few months left for planning.

So here I am looking for ideas from some of my *OLD* friends who have already been to their 10-year high school reunion. Ha, ha! Or even if you didn't go (I know some of you say you'd never go to a reunion) did you get any information about what was planned? How much did it cost? etc.

Sorry to say but ours was SO LAME....I was so sad. It got thrown on somebody last minute so it's totally not his fault. We had a family BBQ for 10$ per adult and a "formal" for 15$ per adult. They also did a bar mixer and breakfast on a Sunday, both pay your own way.
Oh, and my blog is private now so email me if you'd like an invite. :) annagk@email.phoenix.edu

I didn't go because I couldn't get out of work! How lame is that? But I heard that the best part was the family day out at Fort Tuthill. Kind of a picnic lunch thing.

I ended up not going to mine but I think I would have if I'd been even remotely in the area. It was scheduled to be a $40ish ticket to a nice reception at a vineyard. At the last minute, they ended up changing it to $10 and it was at the old high school hangout (a local cafe). I liked the casual, cheaper option better. Just my opinion.

Too funny. I've been thinking of doing a post about my 10 year reunion. Mine would be this year too, but I have no plans on going. I'd think more people would rather something cheaper though. Just my opinion which doesn't count for much being that I have little desire to go.

Hey Camille- I'm in the same boat. Coconino has a group on Facebook for the class of 2000. We've done a bunch of brainstorming on there. Ideas vary still, and nothing been decided. But its so nice to have so many different people involved. One of the class members who was not on Stud.Co. volunteered to set up a website. Here's the web address if you want to check it out: www.coconino2000.com Good luck!

I hope you don't mind that I peaked in on your blog. Here's ours www.4boysand1gal.blogspot.com
