Recently Trevor's favorite book has been Froggy's Dad with Dad, a story about Froggy playing golf with his dad for Father's Day. After reading it over and over Trevor has decided that playing golf is what all boys should do with their dads. (Just imagine what happens when I suggest that mom could golf with him--yeah, right!)It's actually been good for Birch to get outside and take a break from studying. What I think is funny is how happy Trevor is to be his caddy. He might hit one or two balls, but mostly his job is to put the ball down, tell dad that it went "super far" after he hits it and then collect the balls for another round.
Last week Birch took Trevor to a U of A basketball game and he lasted the whole time!
We also celebrated Birch's birthday at the end of January. Presents were opened in the middle of the day because Trevor couldn't wait (and I thought he would spoil the surprises) but we held out for cake until that night. Now he wants a happy birthday every day because he knows it means cake.

Every time ryan sees a candle he thinks we are having birthday cake... and he LOVES cake :)
Also, Ryan got this cute little plastic golf set for christmas... maybe Trevor would like something similar, then he can play too!

Oh that golfing thing is priceless. Nothing makes me smile bigger than seeing P playing with his dad and trying to be like him. Although boys are usually mommas boys it is fun to see them want dads attention sometimes too! About health books that is not one that i have mastered...yet. I use my what to expect the toddler years book A LOT since it has diffrent illnesses catagorized in the back with symptoms and what you can do to help with it. I also use web MD a lot so that i can diagonis the problem. It feels like kids are sick ALL the time and so if i stumble accross a good book on this topic you will be the first to know! =)
buI cant believe he lasted through an entire game. That would never happen with Lizzy.
I'm so excited for you about your girl!!! Shopping for clothes will be so fun. Will you have a shower?
