Then...a few weeks ago I went to a spa party at a friend's house, only to find out it was another scam to get me to pay big bucks for beauty products. (Sorry if you are a consultant for one of those companies, maybe I'm too cheap.) I ended up buying yet another bottle of lotion that was on the cheaper end of the order form.
The irony is that I LOVE it! I grease up with this lotion every night before bed and I finally have smooth skin and clean nails. The lotion is called Extreme Repair from BeautiControl.
Now I am motivated to take on another beauty dilemma: skin care. I've been thorough Mary Kay and several drug store brands but nothing has worked for me. Not being a big spender, I'd like to find something I can purchase at Target, so any suggestions? The fewer bottles required, the better.

Hey Camille, I just made my blog private but don't have your email address to invite you! If you want you can email me your address at janasphotography@gmail.com.
I love Neutrogena, they have about anything you could want at reasonable prices. My favorite thing so far is there Microdermabrasion wand with some grainy texture cream you massage into your face every night. It makes my skin so smooth and even, I love it-it's about $40. They also have great skin cleanser, moisturizer, and sunscreen. They even have little face wipes to clean your face without having to do a whole wash up at the sink and then lotion afterwards. I love them on vacation.
I have the same problem, which is why I'm so glad to be spending some time in a humid climate for once to "recharge," if you will.
My favorite intense lotions/creams/salves/whatever are definitely Aquaphor and the Nivea cream that comes in the blue container. They're both kind of goopy but they work so well. And they're both around $10.
Sorry, no suggestions here. I have pretty dry skin too. My arms get these dry white spots on them. Drives me crazy!
And yes, University Lee!
Happy B-day today! We miss you guys.
